So, as many of you may have noticed, I've been getting stuff done and put out with increasingly long gaps of time in between. Sometimes it's due to technical muck ups and what not, but most of the time, it's just me taking forever to get them done, often with a few glitches in the mix.
I have more inspiration for material than I could describe in a year, but that's just it. With all the things I want to do, all the ideas of others I want to bring to fruition, and all the styles and subjects I want to try... I'm just suffering from burnout. I've been working on art even when I don't want to, but I've got so many projects that despite this they're not getting done. I really hate seeing how long it's been since I posted my last submission, when I know that there's a lot I have to put forward. I've come to realize I've bitten off more than I could chew.
As a result, I'm making a few changes. First, I'm taking a short break from it all. Second, I'm putting forth a new rule; no more requests, and no more commissions, only suggestions.
(NOTE: Before I go any further, allow me to define the difference between a request and a suggestion. With a request, the art in question is being done specifically for the requester, and to his/her liking. A request is more the essence of the viewer than the artist. With a suggestion, you simply give me an idea, and I may take it. Though it comes from the viewer, I can change it, pervert it, corrupt it, bastardize it, and/or reverse it in any way I please. It is a product of the artist far more so than the viewer.)
Finally, I will be refunding most of my current commissions. Now don't worry, I'll still do them all, but I will be doing them at my leisure, and as such it wouldn't feel right to take their money.
PS: A lot of this aforementioned inspiration comes from the fact I'd like to broaden the subjects I cover. Obviously I'm a big fan of pony-vore and such, but I can do more than just that. I was thinking of starting with a voracious Ninetales I've been working on. Some of my other ideas were possibly centaurs, other things that are a tad more feral. I hope you look forward to it.
